Current president of the sri lanka is Maithreepala sirisena & Prime minister is Ranil Wickramasinghe. Capital of the county is Sri jayawardanapure Kotte, Colombo. Parliment also established in sri Jayawardanpura, Kotte. Area of sri lanka is 65610 sqkm. its a beautiful country in the world.

KANDY

Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's surrounded by mountains, which are famous to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is beautiful Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), popular for strolling. It's famed for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, and for its Esala Perahera annual procession. Kandy is situated from 100 km away from colombo.

                                                                                                                                      DALADA MALIGAWA

DALADA MALIGAWA is take the most important place in the kandy.

The Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy, the temple which houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of The Buddha, is possibly the most sacred Buddhist shrine in the world. It is venerated not only by Buddhists in Sri Lanka but by Buddhists all over the world.


Hisory of the dalada maligawa going to 1600. in 1998 LTTE terrorists attacked this sacred place. The blast caused extensive damage to most areas of the Sri Dalada Maligawa. However, the Sacred Tooth Relic which is housed in the inner chamber miraculously escaped any damage.

DUNHINDA   WATERFALL   

Dunhinda Waterfall is situated in Badulla. its away 233Km from Colombo. waterfall height is 64m.This is one of Sri lanka's most beautiful waterfalls

Downsides of Dunhinda there are three major water Valleys identifies as Randenigala, Rantambe and Victoria. Uma oya direct to Rantambe and other two Valleys from Mahaweli River though Kandy. Uma Oya starts at worlds end and it travels Ambewela, Nuwaraeliya, Uva Paranagama, Welimada, Attampitiya, HaliEla, Badulla and ended with Mahaweli River.

        This was situated at Monaragala,Rambodagalle, Kurunegala.  This Samadhi Buddha Statue 67.5 feet high. 


        RAVANA  ELLA








        The Ravana Falls (popularly known as Ravana Ella - in Sinhala) is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. During the local wet season, the waterfall turns into what is said to resemble an areca flower with withering petals. But this is not the case in the dry season, where the flow of water reduces dramatically. The falls form part of the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary, and is located 6 km  away from the local railway station at Ella.
